Middle Fork, Tule River Falls (Giant Sequoia National Monument) - Josh Lopez and friends jump the 75 and 100 footers.
Take hiway 190 east out of Porterville thru Springville and continue for 3-5 miles(this is thirty year old memory), there will be a pullout area on the right, and(if it's still there a sign saying "Stevenson Fire Trail". Hike down to the river, a scramble, then turn downstream 'til you reach the holes, maybe a quarter mile.
Anybody have directions to this place? Why put pictures but not any directions?

ReplyDeleteTimothy,
ReplyDeleteI was searching google for this swimming hole to show my kid’s and stumbled across this blog post.
I’m Josh, from that day. If not for these photos, I would have all but forgotten this particular visit up there.
I thought I’d comment and say thank you for this. My kids got a kick out of your blog post.
Hope all is well. ✌️
